Hospitality Around The Table

Where’s the most popular place in your home for people to gather? If you’re like me, it might just be the kitchen or around the kitchen table. There’s something about sitting together, breaking bread (or eating chips and salsa) that brings people together! We love sitting at our table, enjoying great food and laughing with friends.
In our fast paced world, it’s hard to find time to just sit and talk with people, to practice the gift of hospitality. As we approach Easter get-togethers, I’m reminded of the many conversations Jesus had around the table and dinner parties. He spent time with people, met them where they were, and made them feel known and loved. What a great example for us to strive towards.
With practicing hospitality, it all starts at your front door and goes right to your dining area. Here at The Wreath Stand, making your home a place that welcomes friends and family is a delight for us. Since everyone likes to hang out at the table, why not also make it beautiful, beckoning everyone to stay for a while?
As Easter is a little later this year, we're hoping the weather will be nice enough to do egg hunts and dining outside. Isn't it wonderful to be outside, smell the fresh cut grass, admire all the beautiful flowers, and watch the kids hop around looking for eggs? Your outdoors is an extension of your indoor living, so take the indoor beauty and bring it with you to your patio!
We love all things melamine because they're perfect for your outdoors. The plates are durable, cute, and won't break. I mean, if you toss them like a frisbee (Rachel) they might break!!
We have dinnerware, serving pieces, and drinkware in so many fun designs you're sure to love!
Whether entertaining comes easy to you or you need a little help, we hope today's blog has been an inspiration to you!
Until next time,
Joy
